NOVEMBER 26 UPDATE:
Contrary to what has been announced below, the period of missing data on SO reports (impact for Sigfox operators only) concern November 25th or 26th depending on the country. Moreover the information is missing on a period between 30 minutes and 13 hours depending on the type of data.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
Due to GCP Migration, there will be an unexpected impact on the SO reports platform (impact on Sigfox Operators only):
On tomorrow's report (2021-11-24), there will be missing data over a period of at least 10 minutes. This will happen when we switch the Network Monitoring System instance to GCP.

We observe that callbacks are failing in some of our customers.
In this case, we advise you to check that you are whitelisting the following full IP address range used by the Sigfox cloud:

185.110.96.0/22

We are scaling our operational capacity by proceeding with the already advertised migration of our services to Google Cloud Platform.

The migration is targeted for November 23, 2021, and will be carried out in a day-long maintenance slot.

Temporary service interruptions are part of the mitigation and corrective actions that we would put in place. Such service disruptions are therefore to be expected for the whole duration of the maintenance.

In addition, preparing the last phases of the migration, Sigfox operations will continue to perform scheduled maintenances (with no expected impact) on a weekly basis until the final migration slot.

Given the transitionary nature of the migration procedure and the high load it will induce on the system, we kindly ask operators and users not to conduct demanding and/or critical operations on the day of migration.

Any updates during the maintenance slot will be communicated via the status page. We therefore strongly recommend users to check their subscription status on the status page.

Service disruptions are to be expected for the whole duration of the maintenance (message processing, base-station management, callbacks delivery, downlinks, APIs)
Specifically we plan the following:
• Temporary and limited delay on uplink processing
• Temporary downlink loss
• BS spectrum will temporarily not be displayed (for Sigfox Operators)
• BS diagnosis temporarily unavailable (for Sigfox Operators)

NEW: To secure the migration, the backend will protect itself from messages older than 30 minutes. This means that messages sent that take longer to reach the backend (when a disconnected station reconnects for example) will be discarded. This measure nominally impacts 0.02% of message traffic and will only be applied on November 22nd and 23rd, 2021.
